We are a family run business focused on delivering great quality products, and excellent customer service. While our main business is focused on egg packaging we are rapidly growing into new markets.
Dispak Limited was started in July 1971 and was incorporated in April 1973. Dispak first started selling equipment and anything associated with chickens. The packaging soon followed and the rest as they say is history.
My name is Sarah Melling and I took on the running of Dispak in 2008 after my dad Tony Brown had a massive Ischemic stroke that took him out of the business overnight.
My dad bought Dispak in 1987 and I started working for him in 1995. I have worked in every area of Dispak from the warehouse and driving forklifts, unloading vehicles and managing transport to working in purchase ledger and generating accounts.
I have also been an account manager looking after our customers, and worked in customer services, so I know what it takes to make Dispak work and work well, and I will not accept anything less. I know how important having the right packaging in the right place at the right time is!
We have now moved to our new premises in the South of England to Calne, Wiltshire where we have purchased a 34,000 square foot warehouse and office in 2021.
After an extensive refurbishment including a 120KW solar array we moved in in February 2024. We also have a second warehouse in Whitchurch, Shropshire, which allows us to service the whole of the UK on our fleet of 5 lorry’s and 2 sprinter vans. We love what we do and have always tried to stay true to our core values to supply industry with the best value for money packaging, while delivering excellent quality and customer service.
We work with great suppliers, working in partnership to deliver the products you need to make your business a success, and if something does go wrong (its rare), the Dispak team will not run from it but keep you informed and updated and a find rapid sensible solution. Putting our heads in the sand is not what we do.
