Our head office site at Calne has over 300 solar panels. The power of the sun runs our warehouse and offices and also keeps our fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles running, without polluting the environment.
This all means that each year the solar power generated at our head office reduces our carbon footprint by over 60 tonnes of carbon emissions per year. That’s the equivalent of planting over 2500 trees each year, and this is only the beginning of our renewable energy journey.
We support our farmers and producers and take their animal safety and biosecurity very seriously.
We take extreme care to strictly follow biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of avian influenza (bird flu). Vehicles are routinely cleaned and disinfected after contact with egg producers on site.
